Welcome Back to Holden Lake Farm & Garden: Our Grand Re-Opening!

Hello, friends and supporters! 🌸 We are thrilled to announce that Holden Lake Farm and Garden is opening its gates earlier this year, starting March 1, 2025. We’ll be open 7 days a week with temporary hours 9 AM to 4 PM, (regular hours 9-5pm) ready to welcome you back for another season of growth, connection, and community.

Over the past months, we’ve been busy planting, nurturing, and curating a stunning selection of plants to kick off the season. You’ll find spring bulbs, vibrant ranunculus, and a fresh collection of your favourite garden treasures. And because we love a good celebration — for one week only, we’re offering 4″ pansies for just $1. 🌸 Yes, you read that right!

• New Varieties & Collections: Thoughtfully chosen to add colour, texture, and life to your garden.
• Workshops & Community Events: Opportunities to learn, connect, and share knowledge with fellow plant lovers.

Calling all plant enthusiasts, crafters, and nature lovers! 🌿 If you’re passionate about teaching, supporting local businesses, or sharing your unique skills, we’re looking for workshop instructors to join our growing community. If you know anyone who is already teaching, please send them our way here!

March 15: A Day of Tools & Pre-Order your Sourdough bread now!

Mark your calendars for March 15, because we’ve got something special lined up:

• Tool Sharpening Workshop with Sean: Learn how to restore and maintain your garden tools for a season of success. Sean will also have rust erasers available for $18.
• LOAF | Oceanside Chef Pop-Up: ONE DAY ONLY : A micro-bakery event featuring mouthwatering goodies like sourdough, marble rye, cheddar loaves, buns, canelés, and macarons. They will be joining us from Parksville and you must pre-order your baked goods at least 48hrs before to ensure you get exactly what you want before they sell out. Come for the plants, stay for the treats! 🍞✨
