Grand Re-Opening Celebration & Spring Planting Bonanza!

Spring has sprung, and we couldn’t be more thrilled to announce the grand re-opening of our greenhouse at Holden Lake Farm! It’s been a joyous occasion, marked by the laughter of happy clients, the warm embraces of returning staff, and the enthusiastic greetings extended to our loyal customers, both old and new.

The energy in our greenhouse during this reopening weekend has been nothing short of electric. As we welcomed back familiar faces and introduced ourselves to new friends, the spirit of community and growth filled the air. We’ve witnessed firsthand the shared passion for cultivating beautiful green spaces and fostering connections with nature.

And this year, on some Sundays, we’re delighted to announce that our first food truck vendor of the year, Mizu Real Fruit Ice Cream, is serving up some egg-cellent delights this Sunday only. Please drop a comment below if you’d like to see her back so I can invite her and more Food Trucks to our farm.

Our shelves have been bustling with activity, with perennial plants flying off faster than we could have imagined. It’s no surprise—these resilient beauties are the perfect choice for gardeners looking to get a head start in their garden planning. With the transition from El Niño to La Niña this year, perennial plants are poised to thrive, ensuring your garden remains lush and vibrant throughout the season.

But fear not if you haven’t had the chance to visit us yet—there are still plenty of perennial plants up for grabs, awaiting their new homes in your gardens. And of course more annuals and greenhouse strawberries to come. (Crossing our fingers and toes that we have enough to go around!) Whether you’re a seasoned gardener or just starting your green-thumb journey, our team is here to assist you in selecting the perfect additions to your outdoor oasis.
